These are the book I would buy today if I chose them just for the covers. I am a big believer of covers, labels of wines bottles, packaging of tea... a sucker for asthetic beauty over internal content :)

You know the old saying - you dont judge a book by it's cover...the person who made that one up must have been hit by the ugly stick. Rough!
{I know that you do really value the internal content as well......}. Oh, but there are so many just.amazingly.beautiful.inspiring book covers (wine bottles, clothing tags, notebooks, pencils.....) in our world.
I do think that old saying was perhaps coined when books had plain paper covers. Not like these classics (http://www.penguin.co.uk/static/cs/uk/0/pubsetpages/clothboundclassics/index.html).
PS - thanks for a lovely day today, was so good to chat and sit and sew. xxx

had to comment on this one. I have to agree totally. I do this all the time and J will tell guests that the bottle of wine was choosen for the label:)
